Request Account Deletion
You can request deletion of your ClarityOS account and associated account data at any time. This page can be used whether or not you currently have the app installed.
In the ClarityOS app
- Open ClarityOS and sign in to your account.
- Go to Profile.
- Select Security Settings.
- Choose Delete Account and confirm the request.
Without the app (this page)
If you no longer have ClarityOS installed, or prefer to request deletion by email, send a request to:
| Account deletion requests | clarityos@globaldevone.com |
| Subject line | ClarityOS Account Deletion Request |
Please include the email address associated with your ClarityOS account so we can verify and locate it.
What gets deleted
When a deletion request is completed, we delete the account and associated account data we control, including:
- Account profile information (name, email, authentication identifiers).
- Subscription and entitlement records linked to the account, except where a billing platform such as Google Play retains its own transaction records.
- Documents, scans, and files stored in your ClarityOS Vault.
- Saved device-health, network, and activity history associated with the account.
- Any stored Gmail connection authorization for Email Cleaner.
What may be retained, and why
Some information may be retained for a limited period where required by law, fraud prevention, security, or a documented legal obligation (for example, records a payment or billing platform is required to keep). Any retained information is limited to what is necessary for that purpose.
Disconnecting Gmail separately
Disconnecting Gmail from Email Cleaner is different from deleting your ClarityOS account. You can disconnect Gmail from within ClarityOS, or revoke ClarityOS's access directly from your Google Account permissions page. ClarityOS does not store a server-side copy of your Gmail inbox, so disconnecting Gmail does not require deletion of a mailbox copy on our servers.
Processing time
We aim to verify and complete account-deletion requests promptly. We may ask you to confirm the request from the email address on file before completing it, to protect against unauthorized deletion requests.
See also the Privacy Policy for how account data is handled and retained.
